Not really, the Road Angel is accurate, and the speed cameras are very rarely set at exactly the limit anyway.

There is but the individual data sentences are time stamped and you use the time on that not the time on your local device.
Basically if it says
1200 - 54.00, 03.00
in one sentence and
1203 - 54.01, 03.01
in the next you have the time and the ability to triangulate a distance. Makes no odds at all how long it takes the signal to reach you, apart from of course that if you slam on and the car is stopped it might still say you were doing 30mph 5 seconds ago, which was true.
Its not great for 0-60 runs and the like but speed testing either by maintaining a constant speed or scanning an entire log to find a peak are accurate.

I tested my XE corsa with road angel classic and at 30mph (clocks) i saw 26 on (road angel) and this continued upto 110mph staying 4mph all the way through the rev range with me keeping the car dead on 40, 50, 60 70 upto 110. I Havent tested above 110mph but im pretty sure it will be the same.
The thing with road angels is its best to test on a flat road and you must keep the speed constant e.g. sit at 60mph constant on a flat road and after 2-3 secs it will show your accurate speed.
