Driving today called the RAC due to car losing power and chugging. Got towed home, compression test showed that valves numbers 3 and 4 have gone. Any body know why this could of happened as two is rare to go at the same time
any advice???THANKS

do you mean the cylinders?????
possibly worn piston rings
take it to a garage that can perform a leak-down test to determine where the compression is escaping (intake, exhaust, crankcase, gasket, etc.)

a compression test is done by removing spark plug and plugging an instrument in that tests compression of each cylinder, not the valves
