Is it random which wheels come on a corsa sport, ie 3 spoke or 5 spoke.
I understand that 3 spoke ones to have wider tyres, is this always the case?
Just asking as my 2000(1.6) has 3 spoke but i prefer the 5 spoke ones.
Thanks

No no no
5 spokes were standard on 1.6 Sports up to 98 ish.
3 spokes were standard on 1.4 and 1.6 after middle of 98.
Regardless of year 1.6 always came with 185 tyres.
1.4 had 165 either 65 profile on the 14 or 70 profile on the 13.
I think

And yes, the SXi later got the 5 spoke with the 165 tyre.

are the 3 spoke "rims" actually wider than the 5 spoke ones then as im considering getting some 5 spokes and swapping my tyres onto them.
