Dbilas have offered me a good price inc fitting if I take my car over to there HQ in germany

MY only concern is the power...
The standard Z18XE is 125 bhp,
surely with an upgrade of 105 bhp in one go things could get nasty??

For 4500 I would hope it would be realible.
To be honest I would'nt, you could have just had a Z20LET fitted to your SXi and not bothered buying the SRi

Z20LETs been done,
Its like why does jr not just stick a 2lt in his car rather then spend the money on his X14/X16
How many Z18XE's have you seen tuned?
I think ill finish the stereo for a show season then maybe more power

Dont bother with the turbo, is gonna be much more hassle than its worth. As James said, get some TB's and good management.

So what if its been done
I never understand this statement with engine converisons. The point of one is surely to gain useable safe power that is reliable?
So you would rather spend £4.5k on somehing that could potentioally melt your engine, rather than spend slightly more on an engine that kicks out that power wise anyway before you tuen it so you will be running a reliable lump
PAINZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just get an LET

Dont bother for that money a z20let would be more worthwhile!
Fair enough you may be different but the reason lets,xe's, z20, is so popular is for the reason theres heaps of knowledge on them, also parts are relatively easy to get and if built correct they will be reliable
