Any help would be appriciated

Whenever my corsa 1.2 sxi has been left parked up for awhile and i go to set off in 1st, it starts to go but then the rev counter cant get passed 2000 and it 'shudderers'. there is a loud sound from under my bonnet and its like the engine is jumpin about...the whole car shakes violently until you keep the clutch down and keep your foot on the accelerator for 5-10secs until the engine accepts its revs

...then it is fine

im in need of an Oil change, but im not sure its JUST that

please help me

cant afford another trip to the garage

as soon as i bort the car, i had to take it straight in to get a new EGR valve fitted

thanks

year of the car?

Sounds like a really bad problem, you should have the bonnet up and have a mate look in the bay while you slowly set off in first.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say its an engine mount

Also this post should be in the Help Zone and Mod forum!

Hope you get it sorted

when was its last service/oil change? as in.. how many miles ago...

Could be something obvious if you get someone to rev the car while you look in the bay with the bonnet up.

Satsta.... first check the bay and look for obvious probs, if we have a more details of what 'looks' wrong then maybe someone on here can help you more.

And theres always the paperclip test so you can see what error codes the car is spitting out.
