Hi,
fixed my speedo the other day(it was the speedo drive) and then the speedo cable snapped (so i fixed that)
But when it's flat out in 4th almost redlining it reads about 89mph and then when i put it into 5th it just seems to stop @ around 90mph and i can feel the car is still accelerating so what's wrong with it??

(the speedo is out anyway because i have 17's on but i found a caclulator and it says it would onlt be going 100mph and it should do more than that (it's got a pipercross induction and after,arket back box.

i dont think a 1.4 8v with 17's will accelerate after 90mph
