hi ruebs, the sump gasket is really easy to do, quite simply, get under the car, and locate the sump plug, unscrew, drain oil into container, fit gasket, replace and tighten up plug and refill with some fresh oil. Why you are at it, fit a new oil filter, which is the canister shape thing at the front of the engine near the bottom of the block.

still easy.
drain oil.
remove exhaust downpipe (3nuts)
take out the 15 sump nuts.
clean mating faces of sump and block with emery cloth
apply sealing compound to the 4 joints on the block(you will see what i mean!)
fit new gasket.
re-fit everything
fit new oil filter
fill up with oil
job done.
should take 1-2 hours.
