Not a fan of jap stuff at all
Love the Trusty griffin!
Everyone has scoobies yeh there lush cars and fast and handle a treat but id prefer a nice cav turbo with 300 bhp, more old school and surprising to people!

Not a fan of the flat 4 engine, sounds like a beetle to me.
I found a webpage where someone had stuck a 2.7 boxster engine in the front of a legacy sallon, guess you could do that to a scooby too, certainly suprise a few ppl with that I bet, and it would sound much yummier.

Maybe trusty to you but I had endless problems with my Corsa - was the worst car I owned and cost more to maintain than my Impreza!!
But thats just my experience - Im sticking the Jap / German now

Yeh dont get me wrong, my dads had a few scoobs, p1 and wrx!
Along with audis and all sorts
i just love the old school cav turbo and mk3 astra gsi!
Evos, scoobs, supras, celicas are all expected to be fast and will cost a fortune in parts etc!
Mates pulsar was 350 bhp and rapid, clutch went there goes £500 like that!
200sx and 22b scoob are only jap cars i desire to own

Agree Brad,
Ive had my corsa for 4 years. Never gone wrong once, all the probelms of recent times is due to me putting an engine that wasnt designed to be in there and is now 15 years old so some things just die.
Other than that my car has cos me bugger all to keep on the road, and its never really had a serious problem, even when it has had a few probelms since the conversion its STILL been drivable. Never died completely.
Love the vaux

And plus you can walk into nearly any scarppy and get parts!
I can get any part for a LET engine new or old within a day at the most i would say, jap imports etc would be ages!
Plus im not a huge skyline lover, fair enough ive been in gbh bobs one at 160 mph along with supras, but there expected to be fast!
What i like is something un expected that people will respect for how clean and well maintained it is!
I also aspire to own a nice xe nova, like carl rowntrees or steves old mk2 astra LET!
There cars you dont see everyday

I love the fact that just because i dont have a job that earns me ££££££££££ i can still enjoy fast fun cars that i can do some work on myself even with my limited knolledge, the fact u cant go to a showroom and buy my car makes it that little bit special and the look on scooby drivers faces when they try and show off infront of their girlfriends is very amusing
In short id love a skyline but im a poor cunt so happy with my vauxhalls
Mk3 astra is my next project, alltho id lover a cav turbo as well. Not sure which one i want more
That one for £2k loooks immaculate, high milleage but doesnt show from the outside, plus look at the interior

The one over on MIG is owned by Andy who also owns a Nova Turbo.
After seeing his nova, its no surprise that the CavT is as clean as it is.
Well worth £2k. shame the 4x4 is faulty.

I'm the same as you mate, people often ask me why I settle for a c20let corsa when I could buy so much more, I'm certainly not a skint lad, thing is I just love the idea of sleepers, and most of the driving I do would be no good with a car, I need a van 80% of the time.

exactly i dont dispute how fast jap cars are but that comes at a price
i love the fact i can do pretty much anything to my car, or a cav or nova swap engines etc within a few days have all the parts togethor.
Plus the driving is just more fun, dads scooby was fun to drive but he loves my corsa, its a much better experience, same with the kit cars there just unrefined and crazy which i love!
All the power sterring, Traction control yaw control all that crap is boring

Yep that was a Veilside kitted MR2 Turbo - we had some good fun Good mate of mine.
Myke - that blue example was about 150times better condition than the black example was ever going to be. I regret getting rid of the blue one so much you wouldnt believe.
