take the old 1s out including flames and all that, buy sub frames that go with the seats for a corsa ( unless you have them), drill these into the floor lol, put the seat on the frames and sit.....

'best' and 'cheapest' dont usually go together. spend the money to do it right. DONT be a tight a$$ when it comes to ur safety

my mate made his own for his fiesta with cobra buckets, they fit better than another chap who bought sub frames - if u have some knowledge with metal work its cheap and easy to do

You just need some angle iron Mark... If you remove the Corsa subframe from the car, then remove the seat from the subframe you will see that there are two tabs on either side that the original seat bolts into. If you drill holes in the angle iron so they attatch to the tabs then drill holes into the top of the angle iron so that you can bolt the seat to the sub frame you should be sorted... Thats what I think can be done anyway...

Yea, you proabably need too as the Cobras aren't quite as wide as the normal seats

NO
don't use dexion.
It's by far not strong enough to support the seat in an accident. probably not adequate even for rapid cornering. especially after the sides are cut down to fit the brackets.
that was me fugging about trying to do it for $0. after bolting it up it was obvious that wasn't sufficient.

Yep, the side mount plates bolt into the same place as the base mount seats underneath...
