how do i go about it? it'll well sealed with some white glue stuff?
the clear plastic bit i mean

erm, not sure what you mean, but have you tried removing the parts around it 1st? theres a few screws around the black plastic to take the stuff off, you might find it comes off with these

With a fine screw driver, it's plastic welded on. Just prise it off real carefully
|

i didnt realise you meant that bit. try heating it up to soften the seals. i know people that have opened headlights by softening the seal by putting them in the oven

Yea, I prised it off with a flat precision screwdriver. You must do it very slowly and carefully though.... Don't try doing it with a large screwdriver - even the small ones will crack the plastic as it is very brittle, only use a precision screwdriver...

undo the screws under the steerwheel cover (that thing we the key goes) then the screws on the top half, then undo the three i think, screws on the plastic dash thing above the dails, you know.. pull them all out, a bit of fiddling and pulling, you'll get there. undo the two screws holding the dail thing down, it should just slide out after that. yours maybe different if its a 93 - 97 model
