i have been told that u can use any type of oil in my engine but vaux asy that i can go with any of the 15/40 10/40 or even 5/30 so just need to wonder if any 1 has any news on this

10w-40, like every other what oil is best thread for a near std engine.

I'm also pretty sure that tell you the correct oil viscosity rating to use is being helpful and answering the question or did I miss something
Very quick to throw insults too, I'm sure you know as well as i do it would have been quicker to clock the above icon. BUt you didn't need telling you already knew that

as i searched best oil and nothing came up and y do i need to search wen ppl like u tell me the answer

Daddysport, I've just had a stab at using the search bit, and got to agree its not very useful. It doesn't recognise words under 3 characters, which makes searching for anything with "oil" in the phrase a little useless.
I didn't realise this, so I would like to apologies for my tone.
But I do feel you jumped to insults a bit quick, I try and act as I would to peoples faces rather than behind a computer.
Maybe a FAQ needs sticking on this section of the board for such things.
And 2L conversion costs threads too

always remeber there's other boards with better search engines.
www.migweb.co.uk is full of techy info stuff.
Or just add a quick, tried the search feature and it's did turn anything up.
