I know this is a very starnge question.
I am going to get rid of my car, my mum loves the looks of my car but can not drive a manual anymore.
Is is possible to get a auto box put in my corsa and if so what would it cost?

They do auto boxes in the new ones so it's probably possible. But you'd need to find a box, which'll probably be new as well, and then there'll be no end of farting about getting the thing fitted... So it'll be pricey. Probably not worth bothering.

Cheaper to get your mum to drive a manual if it's just the fact that she's like my dad and got bored of driving a manual and it's not that she can't physically drive a manual due to a disability of some sort

Thanks for you rsponse will look into it thought i may be too costly though, she would be better off buying a new / second hand one with auto box already in it.

change gearbox, and ecu... also need the Auto geabox ECU
that should be it
bloody stupid idea though just buy an auto in the same base shape/colour and transfer you 'good looking' bits over.... job done, sell on the manual, now standard, car for a profit
