the guy i bought it off said use the F16 as the F20 stops pulling once its in 4th gear but a i have only had an F16 box on a standard redtop engine i dont know what to do. I would think the F20 is the best option so just want a few opinions. Also what should i pay for a good condition F20 box?

get a box for about 50

The ratios on a F16 and F20 are the same, but check what final you have in the box. think you have a choice of 3.55, 3.7 but not 100%.
the bigger the final, the better the gearbox for acceleration, and the higheris better for motorway cruising, it depends what you want the car for.
But the best gearbox to match a tuned up engine like this, would be a quiafe 5speed dog box, no doubt about it. oh and a diff.
