Won something on ebay yesterday and paid with paypal as I normally do but it says the payment is uncleared in my paypal account and that it won't clear till 11th May Anyone know why? I'm a verified member and have money in the account linked to it. Also though I should hopefully have some money going in tommorow when my auctions finish so will it clear then regardless?
Cheers, sorry for the essay

Thought paypal worked regardless but you could be right although I paid yesterday and I've paid on a sunday before with no problems. Might aswell wait and see though.
Anyone else paid for anything with paypal this BH weekend and it says uncleared?
Also though if it's because of BH why does it say it won't clear till 11th May?

There is an option within PayPal to send an e-cheque which they say will take up to 10 days to clear.

eBay keep updating things, prob just that.
Logon to PayPal, you will be taken to Recent Activity, then cancel it from there. Then pay again from eBay amending the payment method.
Make sure you contact the seller or they might get a little confussed.

You will be charged the PayPal fees so probably best just to wait for the cheque to clear.

The seller receives his or her fees back and the buyer gets charged fees for receiving payment back
