few progress pics of a respray on the corsa, ive been testing the paint on the bonnet

Take the door handles off as well as the window strips and mask down the gap instead of over the rubber.

its a metalic paint you will find that most of thats reflections from various light sources.
thats only one coat lol will be sanded with a fine grade paper once ive put another 2 coats on then laqured

it shouldnt be so patchy if ur using a compressor. one coat would give it full coverage

yeh they do but at the bottom of the bonnet in between the headlamps there seems to be white patches

it not just that, its that the reflections dont exactly look shiny. i no it hasnt been polished or anything, but it just doesnt look smooth, and u wouldnt be planning another 2 coats.

wot size compressor are u usin?

if its metalic it will need lacquering and one coat shouldnt cover if it does your putting it on to thick

IMO you should have used poster paint, u know the powder that you buy in a tin from early learning centre and mix it with water?

its a Ranger 30 Air Compressor 1.5hp, i thought id have a go, no harm in doing the bonnet as its not the orignal.
