Been trying for ages to get the top not off my front shocks, but it wont budge ..
Need as much advice as possible on how to remove it ?

i had this trouble come off in end with some swearing and hammering on wrong size spanner lol

rite you can either get someone to stand on it and hold one spanner whilst u turn the other, or you could put it back on car and then loosen it, bit of a pain if you have already put the spring compressors on, i imagine you are using them? it can be done, takes a lot of swearing tho, but if u want the easy option put it back onto the car, loosen it quater of a turn then take it off, re-attach spring compressors etc

when i did mine first thing i did even before jacking the car up & putting it on stands was loosening the top-nuts...

just undo it then it will pop the spring off, no need for compressors then..........
