who is the youngest on here with a 2.0 (not just a corsa but anything)
just curious as ive rang several firms who wont insure me in a low crime area, on a 1980 2.0 car worth about £500-1000
think i need to wait a few years!

i know a lad thats 18 and has a vectra 2l.
his insurance is'nt as expensive as i woudl have thought. because they car was made with a 2l in it! 2l corsas are more to insure.
think he pays about a 1.5k ish

Vectras are classed as family cars though so are generally cheap to insure

yeah im having that problem on my dads land rover too, because its gone from a 2 1/4 petrol to a 2.5 rover diesal, even though its a official conversion gonna have to look at specialist insurers.
Car i was looking at was a porsche 924, VW/AUDI really! naff car.......but my dads got the later 944 so i thought it would be nice to have both models but HIC wanted £5000 for limited miles to 4000 a year and 3rd party but then again i am 17
