I have just got some gsi clocks as i am doing xe coversion. The mileage on the gsi is 20k more than mine 1.6 sport ones. Does anybody know how to take it back???

This is totally illegal even if your settin it to your cars actual milage, just stick the clocks in and keep the old ones to prove its real milage had this problem with my GSI, clocks showed about 42'000 when i sold it but also had the original clocks with 69'000 on so

Connect your 1.6 Sport clocks to the sender on the F20. Don't mess with GSi clocks.

I cant see this being illegal there is peeps in autotrader offering to "correct you mileage" which is what i am doing?

It's not illegal to clock your car though.

Its only illegal if u clock it and try to sell to someone without them knowing.

connect a drill to speedo cable, if u want mileage to go down, put dril in reverse, and visa versa.

is your milage not written on ya MOT paper and if you keep a good history for ya car it will be noticable
saying that i dont know many people who check mot papers thoroughly when they buy a car

My GSi has white needles?
Does that mean the clocks have been changed?
Which means its probably clocked

No, GSi had white needles.
1.6 Sport had Orange.
