Well some good and bad news really!
After agreeing with the company in question that the screens we were using would need to be available for a good while in the future. We explained that our consoles rely on using the same screen. The company have now discontinued the screens as they have released a newer model. When I found out about this I was straight on the phone and have a long conversation with the owner. Needless to say I wasn’t impressed as the console we have made is now useless.
HOWEVER, the good news is that we are now using a more available higher speced Centurion screen and this will NOT affect the price of the console and screen much at all. You will still get the screen at trade price when purchased with the console.
Just wanted to keep people updated with what we are doing.
Regards

Our aim is to get them into every show car at max live yes. The price will be reduced for show cars. Im still waiting to speak to the main supplier of centurion screens. He's ringing me in the morning with prices but after speaking to him today it should work out about the same price as before. So around £200 inc console and screen we hope.

Thats worth us looking into, but we need the security that screens will be avalible in the future and the deal won't be discontinued.

A long time, but were not just building a product were starting a company.
We have now got a good supplier for the screens though, which is a relief. Like i said, were still starting a company, working on 6 show interiors and 2 demo cars. Sorting out our workshops and office and putting time and money into doing things properly.

Easier said then done. Its not the rate that we can work at it's all the other things that go into starting a running a good business. No one can truely understand the time and effort that has to go into starting a business until they have tried it themselves.
Also were not starting a small business. When we launch we will be building custom interior and exterior products. After this has been running for about 12 months we will be opening a bodyshop. Im sure alot of you have had bad experiences with bodyshops, as i have, so what we aim to do is take all the bad experiences we have had, learn from others mistakes and open a RELIABLE bodyshop, which is rare. 24hr Webcams in the workshops so customers can watch their car's being worked on and sprayed. Understanding what stage their car's are at. Not being lied to over the phone about whats been done.
So if you all bare with me, you will see the consoles on the market in good time. But these things take time to do well.

Nope, 7-8 months. Which may seem like along time but would you prefer if we just lauched in head first producing poor quality products?
Lots of companies go under everyday from poor preperation. We don't plan going this way.
