few questions
i have low profiles and 16's is 40m enough for having top of tyre just in arches,no bothred about goin to low just that far,
are just fitting springs shite?fuck up handleing?

how much is it routhly for shocks and springs at 40m and how much am i lookin at to get them fitted

If you want the wheels to sit under the arch nicely with no scrubbing (deppending on the offset of wheel that is) 55mm Pi springs on koni shocks would do the trick as it has done for mine, although the ride is harsh hahaha

right mate... its guna b a bumpy ride whether u get just springs or shocks aswell. if you go for a severe drop on just springs it does fuck up because your car will bottom out. gettin the full kit including shocks will prevent this, handling will be stiffer, which is safer on bends etc, but even more harsh, and uprated stiffened shocks and springs will avoid any scrubbing as long as you dont slam it on its arse. springs on their own, bout £40-70 depends on car and supplier. full kit £200+ . hope this helps

just done my gsi ive got std rims 14" its lowerd 60mm shocks and springs very bumpy but if u want it just ova arch go for the 40mm wiv 15s and cost from online in lichfield should be 144 for shocks and 50 for springs hope i helped

40mm is not low enought if you want it just above the arch and is deffo not if you have a small engine that wont weight it down. my front wheels sit under the arch aswell as the back and this is all on 16's hope i help

thats just right red,dint think shocks and that be so much,so theres not a huge diff with springs and shocks then,they both feel shite?
