I have been told that my alloys are too wide for my car as the tyres are rubbing on the arches. I didn't even know they came in different width? If i sold these TSW razor alloys, how much do you think i would get for them? And also, how do i know what width to buy my new 17" alloys in??

The body styling place i went to said that i don't need to change the size of the alloys, just the width. But the smallest tyres the tyre place said they do is 205 for 17" alloys, wich means my alloys must be the smallest width you can get?? If that makes sense? So will i need to get 16" or will they still rub the arches?? I'm so confused! I don't know what to do.

7 inch wide rims

I have seen so many people today and been told so many different fings, i just need someone to help me so i know what to do. I am getting threw tyres quicker than i get through chocolate and i can't afford it. he old arches are rubbing on the tyres and causing them to split. They have got massive gashes in them. I don't understand why the bloke couldn't just cut the old arches away like he was meant to and smooth them out?

Was he the cleaner as he obviously know's nothing about Corsa's

205/40/17 et45 7" wide will fit, you might need to de-bolt your rear arches and bond them back on, this depends how low your car is

offset of 40 would rub, instead of selling get offset reduction done at a engineering place, place in hertfordshire does it for £10 per wheel, they will take upto 6mm off so your wheels could be ET46 instead of ET40. getting mine done next week.

if you want to keep your wheels, cut your arches back.

if you don't want the hassle, get new wheels.
