If a phone can ring and recieve calls to and from Europe will it be able to do the same anywhere in the world? Or is there a limit or anything?

if you can use the phone in europe then its a safe bet that you will be able to anywere in the world, however, there are a few things you need to bear in mind first of all is it a pay as you talk phone in which case there are no restictions regarding international usage to begin with so yes it will work were ever your phone company has a service in the world. if it is contract you will have needed to get the international bar removed from the phone as it works in europe it sounds like this would have already been done so it will work in other countries were your service provider has service, also you need to know how many nands your phone will work on as different parts of the world work on different bands to the uk and europe e.g usa works on triband which is 1900mhz so you need a tri-band phone for it to work there, most new phones are tri band though.

Thanks matey..! I'm actually using a Nokia 3310 at the minute and I presume(!) that won't work, so I've blagged my mates old sharp one so I'm going to be using that! Cheers.

Jus incase u need to know : orange wont work in America, virgin has to have a direct debit set up before u can use it abroad if that helps xxx
