How can i find out if im entitled to a tax rebate? just got my p60 and see how much tax i paid last year and i want some of it back!!

Go to the tax office, they should be able to sort it out for you.
I'm owed £700 or so, should be here in 7 days with a bit of luck.
She said it'd be 10 days when i went in

Im a student and get taxed on my wages...or is there a limit to what you dont get taxed on?

Think thats what mine is...problem being I earn well over 3 times that a year in my part time job I do whilst at uni...

I'm getting taxed a quid an hour @ the moment doing part time bar work.
Hence the reason i'm owed about £700 should all be sorted within a fortnight

Emergency tax  It sucks, but alteast you get it back in a big lump

Aye, had the same when i started work. Expected the HR department to sort it out, but that'd mean them gettin gof their fat slag arses and exerting themselves .
