Ok, im stripping out my corsa...and alls going well so far
apart from seats!
dont have torque head so need to borrow one of them!
but my question is about all that sound deadening?
the car will be getting resprayed insde and out would u take it all ou or what?
im thinking i will...but unsure!
also what would u replce it with?
ive heard dynomat, dynomat replica stuff and also ...wait for it carpet underfelt!
suggestions and advice

may aswell take the deadening out, theres not much in anyway. get it all sprayed up and then get some better stuff in like dynomat.

dont heat it up

just use a metal paint scraper & scrape it all out, will come out quite easy in some places, but around the exhaust turret & kickwells it might be a little hard

then just clean all the residue thats left with some petrol & job done

all should come out easy apart from the roof bit. jst spend a bit of time scraping it off

no ur rite JTS the cars not for trackday im stripping it out for an overhaul and full respray!
Dont want to be constantly annoyed with crappy road noise..
so im intending on sound deadening it well.
