I swapped it virtually as it was for the white Gti, only spent £100 havin the wheels shot blasted and powdercoated

mmm i wanna test drive astra turbo, i know there very heavy cars etc, but thought with 200 bhp they would pull away from a 106 gti!

Brad - So would i mate, but corsa5dr will back up as he was in the 106, took ages to get past him Accord was a hell of a lot faster and prob heavier.
Stuart - Yeh i know they were rare, thats y the lad wanted to swap it for the blue one, couldnt see the appeal myself. Bazzagoch (or somethin like that) off here now has it

Yeah Brad, the Astra didnt go aswell as I thought it would. He only just creeped past me.
Accord was a fair bit quicker.

A car capable of 155mph creeping past a 106GTi 
Something was wrong with it, I raced a Coupe Turbo in my Corsa GSi (I know the GSi is slower than the GTi) from about 40-100 mph and he was miles and miles and miles in front of me.
