Any Visual differences?? back in january i brought a '1.4 16v' corsa sport, got it home, beat all my mate's 1.4 sport's/Sri's. So i just thought it was a gud engine. Put it on the rollers 2day and it came up as 115bhp!! (89bhp standard) and 122 ft pound of tourque. (92 ft pound of tourque standard)

Funny thing is its a 1.4 on the log book. its got nothin aftermrket on the engine, but it does go about 300rpm further than my mates sport. So i thought it had bin chipped, but even so, thats not gona add 26bhp!! so ALL my mates are sayin its a 1.6 (106bhp standard) and its bin chipped, which would make sense, so i was wonderin if u could tell ne fin visually.
thanx

only difference is the engine code, but dont ask vauxhall to identify it, cos they'll tell you its "either a 1.4 or 1.6" have a look on the metal where the engine meets the gearbox, rub your finger over it and you should just be able to make out X14XE or X16XE depending on your engine
