When do they normally stop taking on people for courses ? Or do they take them on right up till the start of the course ?

I'm looking to do a carpenter/joiner course for an apprenticeship, just need to know if I still have time ?

I applied to uni 2 days before it started through clearing. Applied for falkirk college a week before the course started. Got into both no bother.
