Yea, but your better off getting a car power supply fitted to your PS2 because you are wasting power by inverting the power to AC and 240 volts becuase as soo as it goes into the PS2 the power is converted to about 5v DC...

fust needed for going down to max power so i can plug in my mates ps2 then it will be surplus to requirements

Kurt its actually 12v and 5v that go from the power supply to the PS2 components.
In the slim PS2 the input is down to 8v, but all of the components eat 5v.
