TB's need setting up straight away and thats what costs the ££££, but with Mantzel you fit it and you have instant 15-20bhp.

with a mantzel your looking at a guarenteed power gain that's not bad.
as Ak says go for TBs
not me. My carbs on my C20XE cost me around £600 fitted including new inlet manifold etc etc i sourced a few bits myself so saves a few ££
I'm running just over 180bhp from a 155bhp engine. For £500 i think 25bhp is a good gain...
as for fuel economy - bolloxs...unless you hoof it around all the time it is no worse than a C20XE.....

With the Mantzel I think my fuel economy has improved.

correct!
the mantzel uses less fuel in lower rev's but more in higher revs.. so in a regular drive from home to work without pushing the pedal to the floor the fuel economy will be improved, however, flooring it to high revs or even the limiter will really affect the fuel economy
