Can you not get a bigger overdraft to cover it? Or lend the money?

I over drawed by almost a grand a few weeks back. Fucking thing went through too I asked them online to up my overdraft from £500 to £2000 and they did. I'm with Lloyds TSB. However, i recently updated my accounts with them so the knew my circumstances (how much a month i earn and how much i can earn). I've been with them for 15 years too

Assuming your have just finsihed your first year and have £1000, you can increase your limit to £1250 interest free from the start of July for your second year with HSBC and most other student accounts.

Natwest don't charge.

I managed to get £900 over my £2000 overdraft limit, still didn't get charged for anything.

Ah the wonders of Friary cashback

You can probably ring, or do it in branch, I have a feeling they do it automatically some time in July if you dont do it manually.
