Offday should be anything goes imo. Offday was created to filter the crap out of General chat, now we're trying to filter the crap out of Offday? Crazy really.

MY THOUGHTS.
If you want an internet forum, you need users.
If users can't get online cos thier PC is f**ked then you have lost a number on your stats...
Why not do everything you can to keep users... give them everything they need, in one place...
This needs to be a well modded area, as Format C: just will NOT do!... it's a good idea, just needs a bit more thought!
Anyway, go for it, if you know what you're doing... i.e. Get a discalimer in there saying: Help given is on a users help users basis, solutions may not always give the result you are hoping for and extra research should be carried out before any action is taken... if anythiong goes wrong Corsasport holds no responsibility... Trust me, you'll need it!!

i say yes, the sites got to evolve with its members to a certain degree, yes there can be too many sub sections which ends up segregating the board and questions dont get answered in parts of the site that dont get visited often
BUT
there has been plenty of IT questions been asked on this board and there's always helpful people dishing out solutions. I think more time has been spent on the IT topic than on games or photos nd they both have sub sections.
Just my 2 pence anyway.

I don't think there's any right/wrong way to structure stuff if we don't depart too radically from the current arrangement, but I'm also in no rush to fragment stuff.

Theres a balance to be struck then? You want to declutter and group together large topics but dont want to overcomplicate everything.
Either way i think, seeing as theres a dearth of knowledge of the subject why not use it

It's not even about corsas nowadays (not saying this is a bad thing)
CS has evolved into a well set community.
Most people will have interests other than their corsas, and are bound to share with the community..
As there is a lot of geek content in the offday forum, there might as well be a forum just for it...
It just makes things slightly easier for everyone...

why not merge snap day and game day in with the new Geek Day and have it as a subforum, with the lastest five threads appeared below the title? do the same with off day. both a subforum of "Nothing to do with Corsa's Day"

Why are so many people agaisnt Corsasport evolving into a massive community?
When i joined back in 2001 it was a site comprised mainly of dedicated corsa enthusiasts. Over the years it has evolved into the community that it is now, why try and stand in the way of that?

I don't mind helping out with peoples phone questions It's all down to whether people will look in the section. It may just be that things would get posted nothing would happen and a link would end up getting posted in off day anyway. Can't hurt to try it though.
