mates just bought a gsi corsa in good condition but with two problems the indicators dont come one when u click the stick down or up nor will the brake lights come on when braking.... all the amber lights do work as they all come on when u switch the hazard lights on... bought it knowing the problems for a really good price anyone got any ideas what the cause could be

Fuses is the first thing i can think off.

checked and replaced incase of small fractures in the connection... all were fine including the flash unit

just double checked yellow fuse keeps blowin... replaced it and blew few seconds after indicating.... fook me i think it could be somit as daft as an earth... and he got just about a grand off the price

lol yeah they are all the correct amp... i think its the rear light thats causing it black seal at the tops letting water in.. gonna take it out and try standard lights and dry the others out

try changing the bulbs, could be a dirty bulb

sounds like earthing or a bulb that's short circuiting the lights.
do they click fast?
i'd change bulbs and yer, dry out that light cluster.
