went up to the dax cobra factory in harlow on sat with a mate (he's just placed an order for their new rolling chassis for the dax trojiero (cobra rep) and we'll start sorting the engine out pretty soon to go in once he's got the body aswell.

Went out in their demo car, it has a 8.2l chevy engine tuned up a bit, and runs 570ft lb of torque in a car that weighs just over a ton! went out for a good 20-25 minutes and this thing was just insane, the noise of it was unbelievable even on idling it was so loud but just a gorgeous noise, i've never been in something as quick as this felt like my eyeballs where being pushed into the back of my skull!!! and the looks this thing got! it's an awesome machine, and i now want one. My mates putting a chevy 5.7 350 v8 engine in his but is going to be going for 400hp with it, so this is still going to be silly quick! gonna be building it over the winter with him.

Dax is the most expensive kit apart from the cobar itself as has the anti camber setup the rush has as an extra.

Not my thing but do sound nice.
Dad built one a year or so back for a customer but was a handful of the road

Yea, i just lied to impress people

Gary took us out, was me and my mate, took my mate out first, got back at about 11.45 with my mate, then took me out in it, if u didnt see me atleast come back you must be blind after full on drifting down the road to the workshop. My mate placed the order that day aswell, so i'm sure if your such good mtes with them they'll be able to tell you we where there, i did see someone go out in that green rush though whether that was you or not ? but that was a while before we went out.

exactly! i've even got video's on my phone to prove my mate being taken out in it! obviously mr fincham is the only person allowed to go up there and be taken out in cars as it makes him special

besides.. the rush is a girls car compared to the cobra.

Close enough also has a better chassis and handles alot better aparantly
rather spend 16k on this one or near 30k for the one with the 8.2 then 100's on a real cobra!
