My brother in law is going to buy an 02 reg 1.8 Astra SXI or SRI. He is wanting to bad boy the bonnet and extend it by removing the grill. He has heard that the bonnet opens by something u pull through the grill, what have people done to get round this and be able to open the bonnet without the grill being there?

Any help appreciated
