Hey
Im getting a rotating sort of clicking noise from my car when i accelerate sometimes. It only does it pulling away quick in 1st and changing into 2nd or 3rd, maybe in the others but i cant hear at that speed. Also does it occasionally when accelerating slightly but staying in the gear.
Is this likely to be a dry cv joint or ball joint? Or something in that region?

well ive just picked it up from the garage and they couldnt find anything wrong with it. They checked the cv's, driveshafts etc... and couldnt get it to make the noise on the test drive. I guess i will just have to wait until it gets worse.

CV joints are the woprk of the devil!
Doesn't sound like thats the problem though, could really be any number of problems. Silly question, have you checked there's nothing stuck in any of your tyres?

I thought it may be something to do with the clutch but it also does it when you accelerate without changing gear
