Richie was attacked by a man with an iron bar when he was a minor (bloke pulled him and his dad over after one or the other the other up) went to court and everything, medical evidence showing richie suffered severe injuries ... the guy was found no guilty as there were no witnesses 
Just goes to show that you were lucky, it could have been worse, just be thankful that u just got a bit shaken up and had a window smashed
All you can do now is give ur statement to the police and any evidence that u might have
