the engine number is it x16xe ??????? or do i not put in the x16xe?

and also what is the cylinder capacity is it 1600 or 1598

the engine number is a long number iirc abit like the chassis number

all i can get is x16xe 20 then the rest i cant read, tryed gunk etc etc

where did u get the engine from?

it will be x16xexxxxxxxxxxxxxxx its about 12 digits long... the number can be a bit of a cnut to read...

i found that if you wait till its dark and put a torch/light up from underneath the car you can see it better... also some sand paper to get the rust off helps.

got it off lee's mate dont have a log book etc. might take the radiator out so i can see it better but dont really want the hassle

whats the engine capacity on an x16xe
