had my eye on 1 for ages but only just got round to buying 1 and its soooo smooth
few pics i got off a site:
its basically a mousemat made of glass, but its built for optical mouses. it makes soo much difference, mouse is more responsive and accurate.
u also get these sheet of teflon that u cut out to put on the pads of the mouse, makes it even smoother
i would reccomend it

I'm planning on getting one when I move house, since I'll be buying a bigger computer desk......this one's a bit cramped, have to use a cut-down mouse-mat right next to my keyboard.

is this icemat for optical mice?
says "gives the user an experience of great accuracy and precision, due to the fact that the surface gives an excellent grip on the mouseball."
which makes it sound like a roller ball mouse thingy?

I think it's just for any type of mouse like wireless wired etc aslong as it has a ball in the bottom as it makes it roll perfectly so the cursor doesnt jump around or anything.
