I need to ring wheel base tommorrow as i'm not sure if you have the 195/45/16 tyres or go for some 205's instead.....

I have 205's on my current 16'' vaux wheels but on a 40 profile, they do bevel in a bit on the inner part of the rim but look so much better on the rim...less chance of scrubbing the alloys as well!

Is anyone on 205/40 or 45's on there speedlines?

Cheers peeps!

Mmmm, I'm on 205's at the moment with about 10mm gap between the tyre and arch.....but i have 16'' Vaux Astra wheels......no scrub at all.....

I had speedlines on my old corsa, on 195/45's and they looked close to the arch that my current set up.....mmmm.......what should i go 4!

If you need them not to scrub get the 195/40, they're narrow anyway so 195 covers all metal.

Yes i dont really like the way 205's site on the inner part of my alloys which are the same as yours, they really do bevel out on the inside of the rim, would be fine on 205's with a much higher profile and a car thats not lowered.....although it does look alot better than having 195's wrapped around them....think i posted on on of your posts about the tyre wearing inside..........creating a tear inside the wall of the tyre. The garage told me i shud really be on 195's with my 40 profiles, even 45's. I've tried different tyre pressures from 28-34 but still not much difference.

Think i'll stick witht the 195/45's that come with speedlins as standard.
