removed exhaust, bumpers etc started on taking fuel tank off too but decided to check out what bits i shud unbolt before i go nuts









also decided to remove some steel
so some dodgy grinding and drilling later i made some nice holes in me car

cage, buckets, fibre bonnet boot, suspension, big engine
thats it really

track slag
just deciding weather to put a small 7 gal fuel tank in boot well as i dont need a 40 gall tank in car and with it sloshing about it wont do it any good
so i may get a rally alu tank full of fuel foam and a swirl pot

i had a few weld marks etc where my rear seat mounts etc were grinded off

ordering the cage soon with the bonnet and boot and the new windscreen and plasctic rear windows
then itll go off to body shop

then ill save up for the engine

dunno looked at sparco and omp i think 6 point with door bars fia approved £300 i think
i still have a heater system so screen will be std
dunno if im loosing the dash as ive gotta mount the fire extuiguisher pull batt cut off and some gauges
i may lose the glovebox side of it and just have the heater pipe there to de-mist it

i tried that... the pipe doesnt quite do the job..... just chuck the heater matrix, fan etc... a lot of weight there

mine were welded up then bitumen wrap over the top...

car is dry stored
cage and body will be done in about a month
really dunno about losing the dash, i have a spare one so ill look at that first
