Been thinking lateely of what car i could get next, but its hard to narrow it down if i dont know how much i will have to spend!

i know its really forward thinking but how much could i realistically get for M9 towards the end of the show seaon!

If i dont have something to think about then im gonna start thinking and wanting to do things to M9 which i dont need to do!

Its 1997 R Reg originally, will have about 52K on the clock
Will come with absoluetly everything except maybe the plate if i get another vaux!

I reckon realistically i think i will only get about £4-4.5K

you have to look at the problems davido is getting selling his car and it's a sweet motor...hopefully you would get somebody that really wants it and pay top price for it after all the hard work...

It's a completely modified car, so an asking price of abour £4.5k would be justified... Just got to find somone who would pay that much for it, bearing in mind the ammount of copycats there are out there I'm sure there are a few people who would be interested in buying it

i personally think with quality of your car, and the stunning interior 6k now would be a fair price so say £5500 next year, its such a nightmare trying to get rid im getting depserate now before i split im thinking of chucking it on ebay and seeing what it might bring, then will have no other option but to split it.

with yours it would be good being able to advertise it at the shows next year in preperation to selling as thats your ideal target market
kind of wish i had attended a few with mine advertised to generate some interest.

id be well happy with £5500, but think it be lucky to get £5k to the right person!

Start with asking for offers you might be surprised.
I asked for offers and got 6k for mine
Its worth doing it for a few weeks then if nothing then put a price of 5k or so on it

Well thats what I would do

I think you'll get £3.5k tops.

I don't think all of this 'show car' stuff adds any value to cars when they're modified to the extremes that yours is because no one is going to buy it as its pointless buying a car to show off someone elses work..

You be better off splitting it in my opinion.

Thats fair enough and i see what you mean!

BUT i do think a some of the mods ive done do add a certain bit of value, like you pay extra for a car with leather/alcantara etc which ive got, i think you can add a small value if a car came with alot of ICE etc which mine does to a great deal and i would possibly sell it with the plate which should add a small bit of value, which would all push it up towards and maybe beyond the £4K mark!

mine is on ebay with 3 days left, up for 2550 at the moment, with the PC in it.

reserve is 3500, and ive had a lot of offers over 3k, so i shall see how it goes

ps - mine is no where near your spec or age etc, so 3.5 for mine will mean 4.5 at least for yours

easily 5.5-6k

i was offered 5.5k cash for mine but declined that as wanted to acheive everything possible and your car is a much much higher standard than mine
