ok so spybot search and destroy cant find it, niether can adware away or a norton anti virus check.
basically everytime i go to load up a page it comes up with the download the page window, as if i had right clicked and gone to save page.
now it does this with everything and ive even resetted IE settings. nothing works.
googles not bringing anything back.
anything had this problem before

download AVG antivirus its free, find it works really well

tried using an alternative browser such as firefox?

the only problem with tryin to get free programs is that i cant actually download anything
but i think i found it though.

avg i reccommend, but use ur task manager or check downloaded files in the local c drive under windows. also check ur programme files, there maybe dodgey stuff there that u may not recognise

well it turns out Limewire working still which is a bonus so im downloading Adaware SE Pro for free. see how that goes with it.

why don't you jnust purchase a good firewall / antivirus package to protect your machine then you won't have these problems

i have got both
saying that they are norton but this is the first time ive had a virus for ages.
