just did paper clip test and got a list of faults
1-4-0-5
1-5-0-3
0-4-0-0 EGR Plow Malfunction
1-5-0-2
0-4-1-2 Secondary air injection system switching valve A malfunction
0-1-1-0 Intake air tempreature circuit malfunction
0-3-2-5 Knock sensor 1 circuit malfunction (blank 1 or single sensor)
0-2-3-0 Fuel pump primary malfunction
0-1-7-0 Fuel trim 1 malfunction (blank 1)
1-6-4-10
1-4-10-5
anyone able to help with any of the above please do so
cant find what the rest mean, help needed!!!

It wont be all them things, it will be a small number of them effecting everything else, when ya idle speed control motor goes it normally throws up at least 3 codes, the fault codes are a GUIDE not an instruction.

whats the best thing to do then, should i reset the ecu then try again and see what it brings up?

It seems to me the EGR valve is not working as its mentioned it more than once that there is a problem on this system, also the immobiliser should control the fuel pump operation as part of its anti theft system so i would also say its this thats causing the fuel pump problem and in turn a fuel problem might allert the knock sensor, thats how you have to think about it, like i said a guide not a definate answer

seems to run ok tho, maybe idles a little high when starts but settles down to bout 8/900 rpm
