It wouldn't be very good at drifting due to the fact its such a short car, just take a look at the clio v6, if you try and get the back out it'll just spin. The longer the car the easier it is to take sideways.

A Clio V6 wouldn't drift anyway because the engine is mid mounted...
You never know Steve, this summer i'm sure my welding will have improved enough to build you the shell

Alot of work mate as you also need to have your engine sitting norht to south rather than east to west, so alot of the bulk head needs cutting and making , plus a tunnel for the gearbox to sit under.
you have also got to think the steering rack will need to be made/custom one used as where the normal Corsa one is it will be in the way.
plus all the back end need chopping out for the Diff.
Alot more work the 4x4 mate. which i can also get pic for aswell if needed
Pics so you get the idea this is a Corsa shell btw (ford gearbox)

any more info needed feel free to ask mate
Hope this helps

rear engined is easier. chop out a subframe, weld it into the boot of your corsa.

a lot of effort - go 4wd if anything imo.
RWD has the advantage that if you boot it the weight shifts onto the rear wheels = more traction on the wheels pushing you forward (though less on the wheels steering)
where as in a FWD car you boot it and it goes light at front = wheel spin.
I wouldn't like the handling of a RWD corsa to be honest, would be prone to spinning I'm sure ... Wheel base is very short and would need a bit of suspension work to get it handling ok.

Now 4x4 is the same BUT you only need to extend your Exharst tunnel over the the passenger side by about 5cm make a new rear gearbox mount, and again make all the back end for the rear subframe and diff.
-rear end is the same ammount of work for 4x4 and RWD (where all the work is)
-Tunnel is alot smaller and easier to make on 4x4
-no real front engine bay mods needed for 4x4 (may need to raise the steering rack about 30mm higher)
-shortened Propshaft (would need that for RWD or 4x4)
