Fitted my Blitz Dual SBC boost controler at the weekend and replaced the thermostat which was faulty (was mis-reading which caused the ECU to cut boost)

All I gotta say is... WOW!

Vast improvement even in standard boost mode (13psi)

whack it up to 16psi and the car is so so much quicker!!!

Guestimated about 270-280bhp... which is nice!

next to replace the clutch and sort a few knocks and creaks in the CV joints...

God I love my friends at the 3S Service Centre!!

A GRAND

to be honest, im probably going to have a bill of about £1500, but i was hoping to get the gearbox re-built whilst it was all out... I think the third gear syncro is slowly dying and wouldnt want it to let go just after I get the clutch replaced!

plus im going to need a new figure of 8 joint, and a few CV joints too....

its £40 an hour labour at the garage I use and Im allowing about 24 hours labour and then parts on top of that

I think you probably hit the fuel cut mate!! If that scoob is tuned I would be worrying for the life of its pistons

We hit fuel cut when setting up the Dual SBC, and it was a heartstopping moment. Second gear, planted my right foot and the boost spiked to about 18-19psi, which the ECU didnt like...

WHAM suddenly goes from pulling like a run-away train... to stopping like you just hit a brick wall

I once hit a corsa windscreen...

was doing about 60-70 when some plonk decided to move from the slow lane, into the offside lane to dodge something in the road, and it just so happened he was doing about half my speed (its national speed limit)

Wham, I met the front window
