Ok i moved my battery to behind the passenger seat in a move to get a it better weight distribution and clean up the engine bay some more but i am now having a problem with my battery charging. The battery light will flicker on and off when i go over bumps in the road and eventually after a while my car will die and not start as the battery is flat my question is would my battery not charge up properly if it is not earthed to the floor very well? or could it mayb be a problem with my alternator?

could be loose wiring somewhere if it's only when you go over bumps?

here's brosterss one.
looks like he's just earthed the -ve to near the battery.
i would guess you need to earth the other leads from near the batterry tray to the bulkhead
