Yeh so I heard so I bought a set of nova 60mm springs... Made no difference attol.. lol
Got the price for the custom ones tis morning.. 90 plus vat for just the rears.. Not sure if its worth it..
Anyone know if the springs that come with the coilovers can be bought seperately.
Sure Teddy said he had these without the adjusters.

For £100 thats not bad. Unless you want to pay coil over money.

Thing is what dampers are you running because "shortened" dampers are only usually rated to 60mm.

Could make the car drive like shoot.

id love ma car that low.
just got 60mm springs recently, and had them fitted. looks far better than the 40mm's a had on the back. sits straight now too lol.
but that nite a had 4 peeps in the car (2 in the back), n it looked amazin!! we have the same wheels as u know, n sat really low! about 85mm at a guess. n there was plenty space in the arch aswell. best thing about et49's eh. so that had me thinking lol. a dont wanna go down the heated springs route........not wise enough a dont think. make the spring too brittle.

exactly it! would rather spend the 100 odd quid n do it properly, than being really sorry when one of the springs collapses and do a whole lot more damage than 100 quid anyway.

i heated my 60's up mate, ended up snapping in two and as i was going round a bend at highish speed, it mangled my front wing. wouldnt advise it. just get the 90's from coilsprings, my nova handles shit hot!

Looks good mate. I would leave the wheels silver though i think. You've gotta remember the roads about here though, and the amount of speedbumps. Speedbumps wouldnt be an option when its that low
