Hi,
Just posting a question as i am now stuck on what to do .
Well here it goes i took out my cd player on saturday to fit a cd changer in my glove box this all went fine untill i went to put the cd player back and the radio didnt work i tryed and cut my hands for ages dam sharp in there but with out much success. Then today i went in to halfords so they could test it for me and the cd player and arial worked so there was only one out come the grey arial on my 1.6 has broken and the wire goes forever in the main wireing loom for my car, so i dont know what to do next, i dont really want to go to vx because they will charge loads as its not a 5 min job taking the arial lead out.
Can anyone help

get an mp3 player so you have enough music to never need the radio again

right so the grey ariel lead that plugs into the back of you cd/radio has broken?
so if you unwrap the wiring loom under the dash under the glove box it will lead behind the passenger kick panel
unscrew this and in there the ariel lead has a join
dissconnect it, take that small section to vaux order a new one and re-fit it back together
