friday night, taxi smashed into me, the drivers side, he no's its his fault and it was as he pulled out on front of me. i need new bumper new head light, new side panel, and brackets for the headlight and bumper, costing over 500 quid, he says he would pay as it was his fault, gave him a fone, and he said he's not goin to pay out that much for a small bump, and claims that i dont need half the stuff that i have been quoted from other garages, what will i do? as hes not payin 500 quid for it..

I take it you got his details like his name, address, phone number, driver licence number and the number plate of the vehicle he was driving.
Phone up your insurer and tell them that so and so drive into your car and you require it fixing. They will then get it all sorted for you.

Yea, well, if he isn't co-operating just phone your insurance company and get them to deal with it, seeing as he has admited liability you shouldn't have too much trouble getting the money out of him...

ring him first and say
look mate eather way i am going to get my car fixed without my paying a penny, so its eather you pay the £500 or your insurance company will pay to have it fixed, and your policy will go up by £500
its upto you?
then see what he say. if he still says no then ring insurance......

i had this with my girls car exactly the same didnt want to pay the money said he could get it cheaper so i rang the insurance he paid our price in the end.
