not sure on the name, but from what i remember reading

1.5 diesel engine
100mpg
0-60 in 3secs
top speed of 145mph
£17,000 new

Actually, there are lots of manufacturers looking at ways to reduce the rate at which we burn fuel... plus give good power outputs.

Basically injector pulses will be even more accurate than ever before (ie. mapped to every 1 or 2rpm), leading to more efficient combustion

The one in 3cm's post is a diesel engine.
But the 1.4 compound charged one is petrol.
